A new era of plant based eating has arrived
This February, we're evolving into a new version of ‘Neat’, expanding into a new version of us with brighter, healthier and fresher ingredients, reimagined into an innovative new menu that shows how delicious meat-free eating can be. With exciting recipe changes to the best-selling burgers and sides, as well as superfood salads, organic artisan ciabattas and light bites.
Based on the ethos of simplicity, honesty and transparency, each item on our new innovative menu will be cooked from scratch using whole ingredients, made inhouse or sourced locally from trusted farmers and partners. Catering to diverse tastes and preferences with sustainable, plant-rich food, the new menu will include organic ciabattas, locally sourced from Hackney Celtic and baked fresh daily; Neat superfood salads that will be protein packed with nutritious ingredients; as well as fresh homemade sauces and dressings to elevate sandwiches, salads and burgers.
Let's face it, the new menu isn't just good news for the vegans among us. We're excited to be bringing a new well-rounded foodie hotspot to Central London, because it seems that East Londoners are gatekeeping many of the city's best sarnies. The new Neat is ready to be enjoyed by all, that's why we're smack bang in the middle of the action in Soho, Victoria and Camden. Find them here.
What's on the menu? Better burgers, super salads, artisan ciabattas
It's fresh, it's fabulous, it's full of flavour. We're going against the grain of classic plant based food offerings - we've heard time and time again that vegans want more than burgers for dinner - by bringing a versatile, abundantly moreish menu packed with nutrients, real food and honest ingredients.
Menu highlights include the Spice Market Falafel Salad with house-made cumin and coriander falafel, seasonal slaw, vine ripe tomatoes, cucumber, feta, pickled red onion, romaine, and topped with tzatziki and spiced hummus; as well as made-to-order artisan ciabattas that are protein-packed and loaded with freshly sourced ingredients and house-made sauces. Offering the perfect balance of taste, texture and flavour, opt for the slow-roasted Italian Pepper & Stracciatella, Grilled Chick'n & Basil Pesto or Spicy Tuna.
Additionally, we've evolved our original burger category into ‘Better Burgers’ – all served on a freshly baked, brioche buns. Of course, many fan faves including the Neat Burger remains on the menu with a new and improved recipe of the Neat Patty that is healthier and higher in protein. You'll also be able to try the new Superfood Fritti Burger made with a whole chickpea superfood patty, zucchini shoestring fritti - a unique take on the humble courgetti, giving it the air time it deserves - and finished with a cilantro-chipotle sauce and green goddess aioli; and the Smash Burger - smashed shroom and bean double patty, American cheese, caramelised onion and triple pickle burger sauce.
Most of the dishes contain a pretty holistic nutritional profile, packed with all those important vitamins and nutrients to fuel us up the right way. You'll leaving feeling full of beans - literally.
A whole new look | our restaurant glow ups
Alongside the brand new menu, restaurant sites will be presented with a new look and feel, starting with Soho and Victoria before Camden in March. The new design will offer a fresh look and feel to reflect a healthier and wholefood offering. Using natural materials, leaning into more subtle colourways, and maintaining an efficient operational flow system, the new Neat stores eliminate the self-service order tablets, allowing for exceptional interactive, fun and educational customer service.
